  Tristan Foret,
State Vice-President (Area IV)

Tristan Foret is from Raceland, Louisiana. He is a 2019 honor graduate of Central Lafourche High School where he was an extremely active student. Tristan’s extra-curricular activities included being a member of National Honor Society, 4-H, and FFA. He is most notably recognized for his involvement in the judging teams of Central Lafourche FFA and Lafourche Parish 4-H. He was a member of four state champion evaluation teams where he was also awarded state high point individual in Dairy Cattle Evaluation. Tristan is an active livestock exhibitor and has shown dairy and beef cattle and swine. Tristan works with his father on a production agriculture operation growing sugarcane, whitetail deer, and alligators. Tristan will be attending Louisiana State University this year to study animal science and to eventually obtain a Ph.D in embryology. He plans to pursue a career in embryo transfer to develop a method of transferring embryos under a less stressful environment for higher yields and more convenience of the process. Tristan Foret is proud to serve as our 2019-2020 State FFA Vice President representing Area IV.
